One of the things we disliked about the Versa N1100 was the design. The plasticky square chassis harkened back to early days when one could hardly tell between a laptop and a concrete slab. The latest iteration, the Versa N1200, addresses the issue by "unexpectedly" coming out with a white paint job. If you hated the aesthetics of the N1100, the ivory shell of NEC's new Netbook is unlikely to do much for you.
