Nokia just gave us more details about its buffet-style music download service at its Remix event in Singapore today. According to the Finnish company,
Comes With Music will be available in Australia and Singapore in Q1 2009. It also confirmed that all countries with the Nokia Music Store (11 till date; 12 when it is launched in United Arab Emirates later this year) will have the new service next year. Nokia is planning to introduce an 18-month subscription plan, in addition to the current one-year offering.
The service comes preloaded on selected devices and it gives users one year of unlimited access to download all the songs they want from the online music store. UK will be the first market to have this service with the
5310 XpressMusic at approximately 130 pounds. The service will also be available on the
N95 (8GB) and
5800 XpressMusic, but pricing details weren't revealed.
The Finnish company announced its first S60 touch-enabled 5800 XpressMusic model early this morning. The handset is expected to cost 279 euros before taxes and subsidies when it ships in Q4 this year.
