Crooning melodies and screening videos are not the only goodies under Creative's 60GB Zen Vision:M's belt. Connect it to a compatible digicam and it's all set to receive pictures from your shooter as well.
Even if the love of your life already has everything iPod, he may still crave this. This alligator-clad iPod Hi-Fi has his name written on it, especially if he is the excessive type. Scoot on over to an ostentatious Dunhill boutique and blow your wallet on what is probably the most over-the-top accessory accoutrement for the iPod, and watch his eyes as it sparkle in wonder. No details on availability in Asia.

Break out the marshmallows and start the fire. LG simply loves a mug of hot chocolate. It seems there is no shortage of manufacturers hoping to ape the first generation iPod shuffle. The UP3 series of MP3 players are offering a dark counterpoint to the snow white iPod. Paved in a piano-black finish, these MP3 players boast voice recording, and for the UP3Sharp, a monochrome display that a first generation shuffle is hard put to match.
Like the shuffle, there's a USB jack. There is audio format for ASF, OGG Vorbis, MP3 and WMA. Rated audio playback time for the UP3Flat is 10 hours while it's 8 hours for the UP3Sharp, probably on account of the OLED screen.

Faster response rate and high resolution may be nice, but Viewsonic wants more from its LCDs and has integrated an iPod dock in its latest monitor.
The ViewDock VX2245wm LCD is a 22-inch widescreen display that combines an iPod dock and a 2.1-channel speaker system with subwoofers for a monitor that sings. It's no slouch in other areas, either, with 1,680 x 1,050 resolution, 700:1 contrast ratio, 5ms response time, 280cd/m2 brightness and dual DVI and VGA connectors. Other extras include an 8-in-1 memory card reader and USB ports. It is already available in stores and retails for S$788 (US$566.05).

This auriferous rendition joins the ranks of similar electronic products decked out in gold such as the gold Motorola RAZR. After selling a million units, Samsung is celebrating in bling with the auctioning of 10 YP-Z5Fs encased in 18K gold. Samsung is expecting the final bid for each player to hit 1.2 million won (S$2,007). It would seem the Korean chaebol is wishing not for a white Christmas, but gold instead.
