A few spy shots appeared on forum site Modaco showing what seems to be the next HTC Touch device dubbed the Touch HD. According to the source, this new handheld has a huge WVGA (800 x 480) screen which looks to be as big as, or possibly larger than, the iPhone's 3.5-inch display. Given that such a high-resolution display will be found on the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1, it's unsurprising that HTC should have one soon.
The leaked details suggest that the Touch HD is a similar size to the iPhone 3G and will have the same specifications as the Touch Pro. The rumored device is even supposed to have a dedicated 3.5mm audio jack, which is great news for those who use their handhelds as music players. No official information regarding this product is currently available, so just be content with the following pictures for now.

Palm's latest Windows Mobile PDA-phone, the Treo Pro, will go on sale tomorrow in Singapore at S$938 (US$679.71). Those interested will be able to purchase it from retail shops or from operators.
While we have information only for Singapore right now, its price and availability date should not differ much in your country if you are in the Asia-Pacific region. Check with your local distributor or Palm office for details. We will be putting up a full review soon. In the meantime, get our hands-on with this handheld.
Sony Ericsson did two things today. First, a teaser site went live with the title "Who is Johnny X?" On it is a countdown timer to September 15 when the company will host a Webcast demonstration of the Xperia X1. This also marks the beginning of its episodic thriller about a young man with amnesia, Johnny X--a marketing effort that seems somewhat interesting.
And just a few moments ago, the company also sent out a press release to tell everyone that the much anticipated Windows Mobile 6.1 PDA-phone will go on sale in the UK, Germany and Sweden on September 30. It will then start selling in many other regions including Asia Pacific throughout Q4. That's the same period we've been hearing all this time, but at least now we know Sony Ericsson will have to churn out a final commercial product by October.
