Even more reason to workout now. Those developing the rubbery joints, slack muscles and concave chest of deskbound cubicle geeks can now have their gameplay and exercise at the same time. No, it's not the Wii which has yet to emerge from its hole in this part of the world. Instead, it's something a bit more gym-like--to assuage that guilt and let you feel you're actually working out--while integrating two GameFit interactive video games into the trainer. Multitaskers shouldn't have a problem shooting aliens while improving their pedaling and working out those flabby arms.

Talk about weird science. Rather than the usual insecticide spray used to snuff out nasty critters in the house, this one freezes those winged and multi-legged terrors of housewives with a minus 40-degree Celsius spray, putting them into a cryo state of no return. There are two variants--one for flying insects, the other for ground-hugging bugs. This is apparently harmless to the environment and to human health. But if you've ever watched
Demolition Man, we'd suggest you don't try this on yourself. Just in case.
