handSteady

Steady as we go, folks. There's a patent now pending which sets out to improve the human condition. Looking like a padded cupholder with an oversized handle, inventor Chris Peacock intended his design to help sufferers with afflictions like Parkingson's (think Michael J. Fox and former US President Ronald Reagan) drink without spilling, despite uncontrollable hand tremors. More importantly, the user is able to preserve his or her self-confidence and dignity at social events. The handSteady is even useful when onboard moving vehicles like yachts. According to the literature: A rubber grip captures the mug, can or wine glass. Gravity stablizes the drink by letting the handle twist in two directions. To get the drink to your mouth, a catch on the handle locks the mechanism. And it's one size fits all. Ready, steady, bottom's up!

We've got more waving, flapping, whirling widgets on our desktop than we'd like. So what's one more?
