More shiny new toys. This one also just out from Korean company Xenofreaks which was responsible for the ego visualizer called PIX. The PIX Sports is, however, far more affordable and more functional and less in your face. It only not blinks a variety of patterns and messages very prettily, it also doubles as watch, stopwatch, timer and motion-sensitive counter. Its CEO Young Kyun Ha adds in his email pitch that one can additionally use the PIX Sports as a safety light for night activities, though he failed to elaborate on the last part.
Just out from Japanese company Thanko is this analog watch which not only plays MP3s, it has a built-in voice recorder--fancy that. Possibly the first such we've heard of, it remains to be seen whether the pick-up is any good. Great fun until you find out that your office buddy may be secretly taping your complaints about the boss to rat on you. Horrors. Just a pity the watch face can't double as an LCD panel.
