"I am your father." Now that's out of the way, here's something for Vader fans and collectors of all things
Star Wars. We all know George Lucas' obsession with limb amputations. Consider Luke Skywalker's loss of his right hand by Daddy-O, Jango Fett's beheading by Mace Windu, Anakin Skywalker's parting of ways with his right arm after dueling Count Dooku, and much later losing all four appendages in the climatic battle with Obi-wan Kenobi. But that's not a problem as long as you get to keep your head. Prosthetics seem to be the answer, and the
Darth Vader Robotic Arm is as close you get to owning one (without having to lose one of your own).
From the picture, this looks to be the Dark Lord's leftie. If you like DIY kits, the Robotic Arm actually shows you how to build a mechanic limb which lets you grip and move real objects with interactive controls. At US$44.90, don't expect state-of-the-art. Most of the 45 pieces are snap-together assembly work. But once done, this is capable of gripping, turning, and extending, alongside holding lightweight objects like, perhaps, a replica red
lightsaber?
