Heads up, Nikon users! Rumors on the Web indicate that the Japanese imaging firm may be announcing new products soon. According to blog site Nikon Rumors, the company is current shooting a commercial in Los Angeles and US actor/Nikon ambassador Ashton Kutcher is part of it.

On the same site, reports have it that the Leica X1 is manufactured by Nikon and that we can finally expect to see an APS-C compact camera from Nikon soon. There are speculations that Nikon will be making these announcements on October 15, so we'll be keeping a look out for more updates.
