LG has just announced two new LED-edgelit LCD TV lineups in Korea. The XCanvas SL90- and SL95-series not only offer ultraslim 29.3mm bezels and a full glass front a.k.a. borderless design, they also come with two new interesting features. These displays are the world's first HDTVs in the market to utilize a 3D user interface and motion-sensing remote equipped with a gyro sensor. The combination allows users to operate and navigate these panels via hand gesturing just like a Nintendo WiiRemote.

According to a raw online translation of the press release, there seems to be an integrated USB multimedia playback system, onboard mini games and four HDMI inputs. For eco-conscious consumers, there is even an EyeQ Green technology which promises to reduce power consumption by up to 70 percent. Prices for these latest entries start from US$2,485 to US$3,342 for the 42- and 47-inch TVs. No news on availability and pricing outside of Korea.
