Yesterday,
Pentax announced its new entry-level dSLR, the
K-x, with one of the highlights being that the shooter will be available in several shades including red and blue, hues typically not associated with dSLRs. But it seems the imaging firm has more to offer in terms of customization. The company's Japanese
Web site is giving consumers 20 different shades for the camera body and five colored grips to choose from. That's a whopping 100 color combinations.
For military fanatics, you can choose a dark green body matched with a brown grip, while the younger set can opt for psychedelic combinations such as neon yellow camera with a blue grip.
Pentax's
release states that this customization options don't carry an additional charge, though for now it seems this feature is available only in Japan.
