Could Sony Ericsson's "innovative" accessory be an instant-on headset?

Vague is how we describe Sony Ericsson's upcoming announcement on September 21, although the buzz on the Web is that the company will be unveiling a headset which automatically plays music when you put it on. Now, that sounds interesting enough, but it's certainly not ground-breaking stuff. At least, we're not stoked, yet. Or perhaps Sony Ericsson will surprise us come Monday. There will be a live Webcast of the event which happens between 11 and 11.30am (GMT +1). That's 6pm (GMT +8) for those of you living in Singapore.
