The
Dell UltraSharp 2408WFP is the highest-rated monitor I've yet reviewed. It's also the most popular monitor I've reviewed, as it's constantly in the top five most viewed monitors and is many times, No. 1.
Recently, Dell started selling what some are seeing as the successor to the UltraSharp 2408WFP, the UltraSharp U2410.
The new monitor keeps the 16:10 aspect ratio of the 2408WFP, with a 1,920x1,200 resolution. While the 2408WFP got its wide viewing angles and color fidelity from an S-PVA panel, the U2410 utilizes an IPS panel to (hopefully) do the same.
Other specs for the U2410 include a 400cd/m2 brightness, a 6ms response time, four USB ports, and VGA, DVI-D, DisplayPort, HDMI, and Component connections.
The price? S$739 (US$531.39) as listed on the Dell Singapore Web site. Do check with your local Dell distributor for more information on pricing and availability.
