Following our
earlier report on the LG Borderless TVs, its spokesperson has acknowledged that the SL8000- and SL9000-series will be launched in Asia. The localized models will be available under the SL80- and SL90-series with the following specifications.

It's a close fight between the two Korean chaebols as far as the panel bezel depth is concerned. The SL90 edges ahead of the current Samsung LED-edgelit models by a hair with a 0.9mm margin. LG was unable to comment further on availability and pricing for Asia.
