There's simply nothing the Chinese can't do. Currently listed on online wholesaler
ExportSupermart is the Nokia Aeon Clone F168. No, we didn't get the name wrong and it's not even one of those Noklas that we see popping up on the Net once in a while.
The Aeon Clone is unmistakably marketing itself as a copy of the
Nokia Aeon concept which we saw a couple of years back. According to the literature, the F168 is a dual-SIM tri-band handset with a flush 2.4-inch touchscreen panel. It also has a 3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth stereo A2DP and comes with a pair of 950mAh lithium-ion cells in the pack. Talktime is rated for up to 6 hours and up to five days on standby. Do we smell a lawsuit coming up?

While the chinese mobile manufacturers copying International brands is nothing new, it would definitely be interesting to see an international mobile company of the likes of Nokia filing a lawsuit against such firms.
But I doubt it would be effective, since large-scale cloning of phones is rampant in China from the past few years and shutting down one will not affect the 'business' in any way as there is no dearth of companies that are in this 'business'.
I wonder why cant Chinese consumers go for big mobile brands. Cheap is not always good!

It seriously looks sleek and cool upfront.. but when i see the back... it is seriously disgusting. Added that it is a china clone.. i doubt it can make it into the markets. If only Nokia can make the design of the phone uniform on both sides with a metallic back, i would buy the phone for its sleekness.
