This just out.
The
Corby is Samsung's latest budget touchscreen handset which will be available across Europe this month at 150 euros. Targeted at teeny boppers, the funky, pop color-styled phone runs on the TouchWiz platform and includes support for various social-networking widgets such as Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, YouTube, Flickr, Picasa and Photobucket. From the pictures, it appears the FaceBook widget lets you post/read status updates, as well as receive notifications of messages, friend requests and pokes instead of being merely a Web link on previous touchscreen devices running on the same platform.

Corby will also have a new Cartoon user interface which, from the horse's mouth, is a stylish graphical menu and wallpaper that morphs according to the phone's functionality. The interchangeable back covers come in a variety of shades including yellow, white, orange and pink. The company says more colors and designs will be available in the future. The Corby is a quad-band GSM phone with a 2-megapixel camera, 2.8-inch QVGA TFT touchscreen, microSD card slot and Bluetooth connectivity. It will be available Q4 in Asia.

Very colorful ! So yummy ! If this works like synergie on the webOS on palm pre, then it is really a social media centric phone. If not its a candy styled phone with new widgets, which honestly... isn't too impressive.
