While most of us are still waiting for the upcoming Chocolate BL40, a lucky chap over at Mobiles.co.uk managed to get some lengthy personal time with the handset. External hardware features, including the 3.5mm audio jack which sits at the top with the power button, a 5-megapixel camera, micro-USB port and front-facing shooter, got some air time. The 6-minute-plus clip also showed the proprietary S-Class user interface and what seems like 3D onscreen buttons. The Web browser supports multitouch and the built-in accelerometer appears rather snappy when adjusting screen orientation. A pity we didn't get to see the dual-panel interface.
Devlin says... A big fan of the phone since the first leaks of it emerged a couple of weeks ago but not a fan of the presenter at all. His fingers and shaking gave me a headache!
Anyway, I really like the customizable sliding icons on the main menu screen and the orientation transition animation. The effect is really slick but I can't help but feel a little disappointment at how sluggish the interface seems to be. I'm hoping that's due to the phone being a pre-production unit but I somehow get the feeling that the sluggishness is also due, in part, to the S-Class interface itself. All those flashy transitions have got to be taxing something.

Overall, though, I have high hopes for this one.
