Smudge-resistant touchscreens vs. French fries

Just how well do the Apple iPhone 3GS and the HTC Hero stand up to our grease test? Resident Cravers John Chan and Damian-French-Fries-Koh find out.

Update: Even though oil stains on the back of the HTC Hero came off easily, it's not because of a Teflon coating. Only the white version comes with a Teflon back cover. Parts of this video have been edited to correct this.

are you talking about screens? best(at least what the last part should've been ) is to project a close-up look for the viewers to see clearly what differences there maybe as per your professional assessment, btw you look like lover's here lol

As a long time user of touch phones, the first thing i would do when i get a new phone is to put a screen protector on it.

So what we should be talking about is screen protectors with anti-smudge capabilities.

Update: Oh why, HTC? Apparently, this thing ain't covered in Teflon at all. According to the company's PR, only the white models are getting the dirt-resistant treatment. We're guessing the unit we have is just sporting a regular, soft-touch coating. It feels good and all... but now it seems so much less special.

So the model the tested on is black... or brown... so it's not teflon coated but oil smudges still don't stick ? close up shots please.
