Word is the guys at
Journal Du Geek have been testing out a new MP3 player from Samsung. What we know so far is that it features a 2.6-inch screen with a 400 x 240-pixel resolution and will play all the same video formats as the
YP-P3 natively: Xvid, divx, H.264 and WMV. On the audio format support: WMA, OGG, WAV, AAC and FLAC. Also, it features Beat DJ, a music mixing feature found in Samsung's
Beat DJ phones.
One of the a members on anythingbutipod posted a photo of a another mysterious Samsung player called the M1, following a previous member who submitted some of the Bluetooth certification papers for that player. What we know from them is that the M1 will feature Bluetooth and come with a 3.3-inch screen, which is a tad bigger than the current P3's 3-inch screen.
Unfortunately for Asia, we haven't heard any news about these MP3 players. But as always, we'll post any updates as soon as we get them.
