Black or white: Wii now offers a cool black option

It looks like Darth Vadar has set upon the family-friendly Wii with this menacing-looking black model. This new kit will be "invading" Japan on August 1 and is currently on preorder at online retailers such as Amazon Japan and PlayAsia.com. The makeover ranges from the console to the bundled Wii remote controller and rubber jacket. Other blackened accessories you can pick up include an optional Nunchuk and the company's classic controller pro. Color aside, there seem to be negligible changes to the hardware specifications, as well as the official retail price. No news available outside Japan at the moment.

I've been waiting for this to come out since day one! It's finly coming but too bad there isn't a US release date yet.
