You can expect more multimedia content coming your way from
Xbox Live if Microsoft's new venture materialized soon. The Redmond software giant is on track to debut its music streaming service by end July and has further signaled that this could be tied to the company's game console. The upcoming service will be similar to the Europe-based
Spotify portal which offers three types of subscriptions: Free live music streaming with advertisements, ad-free day pass, and a monthly fee for unlimited song playback.
We've sounded out our Microsoft contacts for clarification, but we won't be terribly surprised if the company is sidelining Asia again.
