Crave Asia

GSM Pre official, available October in Europe

John Chan  |  Jul 07, 2009

As was fully expected, Palm has officially announced the Palm Pre in Europe. This will be available from operator O2 in England, Germany and Ireland and Movistar in Spain. The key difference from the US model is of course HSDPA/GSM connectivity instead of EV-DO over the CDMA network operated by Sprint. Pricing has not been announced, though the handset is expected to be available in October.

Naturally, we do not have information regarding a similar launch in Asia at the moment, but we will be keeping a close eye on that, so keep checking back with us.
