The Toshiba TG01 was announced earlier this year as the first Windows Mobile device to sport a 1GHz Snapdragon processor from Qualcomm. It was spied at various tradeshows but hasn't been commercially available anywhere, till now. DoCoMo is currently offering the smartphone as the T-01A in Japan.
Its specifications haven't changed much, including a 4.1-inch WVGA (800 x 480) screen, 9.9mm thickness and a weight of 130g. The custom interface with colorful vertical columns seems consistent with what we saw when it was originally announced, though surely the menus will all be in Japanese for this model.
It shouldn't take long for the TG01 to hit stores in Europe, too, as Toshiba had originally intended for a summer release there. Asia, on the other hand, is out of luck as the company still does not have any concrete details to share about its availability here.
