The tech-crazed Japanese have done it again, except this time round, they have managed to utilize the Nintendo Wii as a crime-fighting tool. According to a report on Kotaku.com, the Japanese police are using a Mii character to illustrate the suspect involved in a hit-and-run road accident.
Could this be a cost-cutting measure to counter the current economic downturn or the handiwork of a Nintendo Wii fan police constable? Nobody really knows, but the above hilarious police notice sure looks authentic in our opinion.

You've got to give credit to whoever came up with this because as preposterous as it is it will surely get the public's attention. And really, that's what posters like these are all about. Now the Mii actually looking like the culprit? That's a different story altogether, but if they did get it close enough I'm sure someone will recognize him.
