Love the sleek, elongated design of the
Sony VAIO P but just can't stomach the price? If you don't mind trading Vista for Windows Mobile, then take a closer look at this Mio Mobile Internet Device (MID).
Spotting a sexy look with a 7-inch display, it is one of the few MID in a clamshell form factor with a full keyboard. Like the VAIO, this model foregoes the touchpad to save size. But, best of all, this model has a claimed battery life of over 8 hours. If you have a soft spot for the Windows Mobile platform, you'll need to be patient as this prototype will translate to a working retail only model in mid-2009.
