CES 2009
This time it's 7mm wide and a tad thicker than the Samsung Luxia. However, the JVC prototype sports a smaller 32-inch screen size and is also not quite ready for production yet. All we know at the moment is that it's LED backlight-driven and weighs a feathery 5kg on the scale. According to the company's official press release, this next-gen panel has other eco-friendly properties such as energy-efficient electronics, mercury-free components, as well as low-heat radiation performance.
