RIM goes to Vietnam

Research In Motion, maker of the BlackBerry handhelds, has announced the launch of its wireless solution in Vietnam.

The services which include the BlackBerry Enterprise Server for corporations and BlackBerry Internet Service for small businesses and individuals will be offered via telco operator Viettel, with Alcatel-Lucent powering the backend technology.

According to the release, three handsets--the Pearl 8100, 8700 and Curve 8320--will be available at launch.
