Hello Kitty charger mates with your cell phone

There's nothing the lipless feline won't do and that includes mating with your cell phone via a proprietary cable. What this mini kitty does is it juices up the handset using what looks like two AA-sized (we're not sure about the size because the specs weren't mentioned) batteries.

Problem is, according to Akihabara News, this charger is compatible with only Japanese cell phone battery connectors. However, the blog site also added that GeekStuff4U--maker of this device--has intentions to develop a mini-USB version, so fans outside of Japan are not left out in the cold.
