Live pics of the E-Ten glofiish X650

The GPS-enabled E-Ten glofiish X650 was first sighted on FCC and reported by blogs like Engadget Mobile and the::unwired. We actually got to spend some time with it, and here are the pictures to prove it.

The Taiwanese company got it right with the color scheme of the PDA-phone. The dark gray and silver shades make it look really professional and it definitely looks better than the X800. The back has a soft-touch finish which we really liked.

With specs like a VGA screen and the absence of 3G, you may think that it's just another X500+. But there are differences, two of them being the inclusion of autofocus on the camera and an FM transmitter. The latter feature will hijack a radio frequency within the device's range so that you can play the music off your device using your car stereo's FM tuner. You do need to plug in the wired headset for that to happen as that acts as the antenna.

It isn't the most exciting WM6 handheld in this age of 3G and HSDPA. But if it sells at a good price, it should suit some users. We still don't know what that price is yet, nor is there an availability date set. We'll have to wait for E-Ten to be ready to release those bits of information for now.
