ASUS Eee PC back in black

Darius Chang  |  Nov 07, 2007

Frankly, white is beginning to become seriously overrated. So when Engadget reported that Directron and Expansys have listed a black version of the Eee PC, we foresee this incredibly cheap UMPC becoming even more popular.

Currently, it seems like only the high-end US$399 version has the black option and it ships in seven days in the US if you order from Expansys. Too bad it doesn't ship to Asia for now.

Hello Darius. I know some people would disagree, but I see the Asus Eee PC, the Kohjinsha PC, and the Nokia Internet Tablet (the latest one!) as being competing items. They're around the same price range, immensely portable, and great for people with a need for mobility but do not need much computing power on the go. Particularly, they're fantastic if you just need to surf the net and do simple emails. I hope that you can do a side-by-side review cum comparison of all 3 products. Thanks.

I am with Amadeus. Give us a side-side comparison of the Asus Eee PC, Kohjinsha, Nokia Internet. I am particularly interested in the Kohjinsha as I am tired of carrying my heavy notebook with me. But I hesistate to go get one because it runs Vista - cannot imagine Vista with only 512MB RAM.
