Nokia hearts Microsoft, and vice versa

We can almost picture Symbian S60 users doing the ^5 with their Windows Live counterparts (or is it the other way round?) and Rick Astley crooning Together Forever in the background. Ok, that's a bit over the top, but Nokia has announced that selected S60 devices will now support Windows Live services including Live Hotmail, Live Messenger, Live Contacts and Live Spaces.

The Nokia N73, N76, N80 Internet Edition, N93i and N95 are among the first handsets that will support the new suite which can be downloaded if the user is staying in the countries listed below:

Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, the UK, Sweden, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

The service is free for now as a trial, though users in the countries being trialed may be required to pay a monthly subscription in the future. Did they just forget us in Asia again?
