Samsung SGH-Z240 gets a dash of Singapore's National Day colors

Patriots alert, this one is for you. Samsung's launching a limited-edition 3G handset pre-loaded with this year's National Day theme song.

Available at all M1 shops and exclusive distributors from July 14, the limited-edition (though we're not sure exactly how many pieces there are) SGH-Z240 will come decked with a National Day faceplate, a theme songring tone and a certificate of authenticity. Pricing details were unavailable at the time of writing.

The island-state is celebrating its 42nd birthday on August 9 at Marina Bay for the first time after moving out of the National Stadium. Click here to find out more about the event.

From the washable keyboard to the washable mouse, talk about squeaky clean! We won't advise you to substitute your rubber ducky for this, though, when you next take a bath. The USB-powered optical mouse is only water-resistant. Else you'll have a drowning rat.
