It's not time for the next rush of camera launches yet, but BenQ certainly wants to jump the gun. Included in its Malaysian launch are some models we reported on earlier: The
T700 (RM$999),
X725 (RM$899), C640 (RM$499) and
C1050 (RM$799), but what's more important is the availability of the
C740i (RM$599) which was announced in Taiwan on July 2.
However, Malaysian users will not be seeing the latest digicam baby from the Taiwanese manufacturer, the
E820, yet.
At press time, representatives for BenQ Indonesia and Thailand were unable to furnish launch details for their respective countries.
