Ricoh Caplio R6: Capturing more

Edvarcl Heng  |  Mar 08, 2007

Ricoh has announced the Caplio R6, a compact digicam equipped with a 7.1x wide zoom (28 - 200mm) lens barrel that would certainly enable this tiny camera to capture more than its non-wide-angled brethren. Already available in Singapore at S$799 (US$569.53), the R6 takes after its predecessor, the R5 with its CCD-shift image stabilizer, but with the addition of a face-detection feature that has been cropping up in most new digicams and a 2.7-inch screen. Internal memory has also been upped to 54MB in comparison to the R5 (26MB)
