Even before the
Shine (KE970) makes its official launch this April, LG has already announced it will be rolling out two more Shine offerings in June/July 2007. The KU970 (a.k.a. 3G Shine) is the HSDPA/3G upgrade of the KE970. It will sport the same slider form factor as its KE970 predecessor, but offer an additional VGA camera for video calls and an expanded onboard memory.
A candy-bar version of the Shine, the
KE770, will also be introduced with pretty much the same specifications as the original KE970 sans the Schneider-Kreuznach lens. However, the KE770 will come with onboard microSD card slot, a feature not found on the KE970.
The Shine is LG's second phone series, after the
Chocolate, under its Black Label premium handset portfolio. Key features on this slim slider include a full metal body, mirror-finish LCD and 2-megapixel camera with Schneider-Kreuznach lens. Read our full review of the Shine
