The handheld maker recently announced that it will be adding two new offerings to its cellular product lineup in February. The Xda Zinc is the company's latest PDA-phone that will feature a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, while the Graphite is a Wi-Fi-enabled smart phone. Both devices will come with 3G connectivity and a second camera for video calls.
The latest announcement seems to be the company's answer to rival Dopod's 838 Pro PDA-phone and 595 smart phone. The two handhelds come almost four months after O2's last product launch of the Xda Stealth handheld.
Probably the second 1080p LCD entry to reach Singapore shores, the latest Panasonic PT-AE1000 scores another first with its combination of affordability and connectivity.
While not exactly the lowest-priced model out in the market, this S$7,999 (US$5,262.50) shooter beats the competition with four 1080p sockets supporting 24, 50 and 60Hz signals. That’s two HDMI and dual component-video sockets future-proofed to handle just about all known HD signals.
That's not all, folks. The company is also throwing in a whole suite of value-added and luxury functions. Most notable is the powered 2x zoom and focus capability for hassle-free image adjustment, plus a customary wide lens shift for ultimate installation flexibility. For the figure-conscious, this baby is also capable of putting out a high 11,000:1 contrast performance coupled with a competent 1,100 ANSI lumens brightness.

What's more, Wei's given her own uber-chic treatment by employing the idea of fun, colorful bendies. On a more practical vein, there's the question of whether there'll be sufficient juice to power such a daisy chain of USB drives. Still, this rocks. "Add" infinitum?
We know that the Nintendo Wii's popularity has spawned fanatic devotion and wide-eyed desire. Apparently, so did a radio station in Sacramento, California. A participant in the water drinking contest held by the station, "Hold your Wee for a Wii", which challenged contestants to how much water they could imbibe without heading to the toilet, was suspected of death by water intoxication. According to the news report, she claimed to be doing it for her children.
What, no batteries or fuel? What gives? Apparently, these Instant Warming Gloves do the job of keeping your mits warm with a good bit of huffing and puffing from the wearer. When you blow directly into a special warming port that sits under a flap on the back of the gloves, this circulates through internal air passages. With the air in your mouth at about 98.6 degrees Farenheit, it's supposedly toasty enough to keep your paws warm. Ready? Inhale, exhale, inhale…
