Toshiba laptops goes 3.5G

Darius Chang  |  Dec 28, 2006

Hot on the heels of the HSDPA-enabled Fujitsu LifeBook Q2010, Toshiba gets on the 3.5G bandwagon for uber connectivity.

According to reports, Toshiba is prepping its corporate-focused Portege R400 convertible tablet for a SIM-card upgrade. Together with Bluetooth and wireless, this move will allow the 12.1-inch notebook to hop on the 3.5G broadband network for Internet access anywhere with a mobile line connection.

Prices and availablilty of the HSDPA-enable Portege R400 is currently unavailable at this time.
