Crave Asia

A photographer's PVP part deux

Damian Koh  |  Dec 21, 2006

Crooning melodies and screening videos are not the only goodies under Creative's 60GB Zen Vision:M's belt. Connect it to a compatible digicam and it's all set to receive pictures from your shooter as well.

With the bundled USB host adapter cable, the Zen Vision:M doubles as a portable harddrive. So instead of carrying multiple memory cards, photographers can transfer their pictures from the flash media directly into the portable media player. With a Canon EOS 30D, the Vision:M took approximately 9 minutes to digest 250MB of photos. One thing to note, though, is that camera shooting functions are disabled when transfer is in progress.

More information on the Creative Zen Vision:M can be found here.
