Logitech's "cool" ChillStream PS3 controller

To those lucky Hong Kongers and Taiwanese who braved the snaking queue to bag that slinky Sony PlayStation 3, Logitech has two new propositions to take the heat off your hot purchase. Keeping your palm literally dry and cool with an inbuilt fan is the latest entry for its ChillStream family of gaming controllers. Priced at S$75 (US$49.34), this one-of-a-kind product circulates air streams along three narrow vents, directing the flow to the four fingers, thumb and palm.

Now that you got the games under control, perhaps it's time to sort out the all-important lifeline between the console and your multimillion-pixel HDTV. Check out its HDMI cable offering gold-plated sockets and noise-resistant quad-shielded construction for high-performance audio and video playback. Best of all, the 3m digital interconnect is going for a reasonable S$85 (US$55.92), which is just a notch pricier than most generic models.
