Lenovo launches entry-level Core 2 Duo

Darius Chang  |  Nov 10, 2006

The Lenovo 3000 C100 has been given a new model number, C200, to celebrate its Core 2 Duo facelift. The Lenovo 3000 C200 uses the latest mobile processor from Intel while retaining the design and affordability of its predecessor.

Not everyone is willing to pay a premium for a ThinkPad with its advanced data security and physical protection features. As such, the Chinese company offers the entry-level Lenovo 3000 series as an alternative for small-business users who require a cheaper mobile solution. The Lenovo 3000 C200 is now available with a starting price of S$1,799 (US$1,183.55).
