Printing out photos and slotting them into photo albums is so passé, time-consuming and sometimes it just doesn't turn out right. So why bother, when you can leave it to the professionals? All you have to do is select the images and, of course, pay when you receive the goods.
FotoHub, with the support of Spring Singapore and Sun Microsystems, has embarked on a new business model that unites all its core functions under a single roof. One of the services it provides is FotoStory--a leather-bound customized photo album.
Under this new business model, all the images uploaded to the company's Web site can be sent to a regional processing center for printing or to the Singapore headquarters for additional services such as large-format printing or customizing photo albums.
All the user needs to do is upload the images, select a template from a list provided, lay out the pictures and send it for print. If you're too lazy to do all that, professionals at FotoHub will do it for you, for a fee, of course.
According to Eric Tan, CEO of the Consumer Division for
FotoHub, it takes about two days from the time you click submit to the time you collect the album from any one of its five satellite kiosks in central Singapore.
So what are you lazy bums waiting for?
