The Korean phone maker showed off its latest Windows Mobile smart phone, the
SGH-i320N, at a recent press event held in Singapore. Touted as Samsung's answer to the much-anticipated
Moto Q, the i320N sports a chassis that is just 11.5mm thin, making it one of the lightest and slimmest smart phones in the market today. Based on specifications, the Moto Q is 0.5mm thicker than the Samsung handheld.
Editors' note:
According to Samsung, the i320N launch date has been postponed to October 20 instead.

Samsung Asia's director of Sales, Telecommunication and IT Products, Ng Long Shyang, described the SGH-i320N during the launch as a "stylish QWERTY smart phone" that "integrates portability with business and multimedia functions".
Like the Moto Q, the i320N is equipped with a 1.3-megapixel CMOS camera, QWERTY keypad, Windows Mobile 5.0 OS, speakerphone, Bluetooth as well as a QVGA screen. It is expected to be available in Singapore from October 13, at a recommended retail price of S$598 (US$433.33) with two-year contract (or S$698 (US$505.80) without plan). The Samsung smart phone will be rolled out across Asia in the following weeks.
