We swear one of these days we might not even need to lift one finger to take a picture. By just snapping our digits, or saying "take this", the camera will respond to our commands to capture a photo.
Okay, we figured perhaps only James Bond is capable of that right now. Amateur photographers, on the other hand, have something else to toast their beers to. Tribeca Labs claims its Photobot is the world's first Zero-Click picture correction software.
The program is capable of brightening all your shots, removing red-eye in your subjects, and adjusting color contrast without any human intervention. Photobot loads when you turn on your computer, runs in the background searching for new images and corrects your photos, automatically.

Incredible as it sounds, we thought this might come in useful after all. Just imagine after a nightout, you end up having discriminating snaps of your boss with his mistress. It may be a good idea to store that picture somewhere safe, for future purposes, should you decide not to blackmail your superior immediately.
Unfortunately, the Photobot is available only as a demo now and you can download a free trial from the Web site. No word on how much the software will cost eventually but you can take consolation that it will come with three months of free subscription to the Swiss Picture Bank.
