How's the idea of a healthy upgrade for a fraction more? Sounds too good to be true? LG is doing exactly that with its latest LB series LCD TVs. Costing from 10 to 22 percent more than its months-old LC counterparts, the new models feature an enhanced 3,000:1 contrast ratio and identical paper specifications such as 500cd/m2 brightness and fast 8ms response time.
Its 42-incher even comes with an integrated 30W subwoofer for beefing up bass delivery, while a 20W stereo speaker system manages the mid and high ends. To complement its audio performance, the Korean company has also outfitted the sets with the DCDi deinterlacing engine renowned for eliminating video jaggies.
The 32LB1R, 37LB1R and 42LB1R are now available in Singapore with a free wall-mounting kit, complimentary installation and a three-year warranty covering both labor and hardware replacement.
