Electric Skateboard

Fancy an ultra-smooth ride with Ferrari acceleration and sex appeal? If your wallet can't afford the lifestyle of the rich and famous, the E-Glide 44 Magnum could be the hot wheels you're looking for. At US$400, three zeroes less than a top-end Ferrari, the E-Glide is one powerboard that'll take you places. It may look like an innocuous skateboard, but hidden beneath is a mini motor that'll rev up to 20mph in 4 seconds flat. A handheld remote keeps you in control of throttle and braking. Definitely a head-turner, particularly when you start cruising uphill on that board.

I own an independent engineering company that did extensive testing of E-glide, Exkate, Hoverboard, and FreeRider electric skateboards, I have to say that this review is more like an ad than a review. First of all there is no e-glide board that has ever exceeded 17 mph, not 20 and 0-17 is between 5 and 6 seconds on a very good day. The cabled remote is very dangerous as it develops shorts from general use and will randomly eject riders without reason. We tested 12 different e-glides and found this with every machine. Very dangerous system. Of all the brands we tested, we found e-glide to be the bottom ranking in safety and quality.

This is Dave Lohrli from E-Glide Powerboards.Do you really expect anyone to believe you purchased and tested 12 of our powerboards, and every board had a problem? What a liar, what a creep you are. These are the tactics the now defunct www.electric-skateboards.com resorted to in a feeble attempt to stomp their competition. Don't believe it.

The other derogatory post listed here is a feeble attempt by electric-skateboards.com to slander our product. We cannot control erroneous post. Those with inferior products, and lack of morals, will resort to any method to discredit legitmate manufacturers. I have rebutted these lies because some of our customers have asked me to do so.

Wow! Not sure what's up, as I have owned and Loved the E-Glide Power board. I will be riding & writing about them soon in my blog at electricskateboardreviews.blogspot.com as I have just been hitting the Exkate/Altered brand at the moment. The only reason I don't have one(E-Glide) at the moment is I gave it to a Team "Go-Chi" Skater Adrian Farray (Awsome Bro to hang with) when we skated together in So Cal. It's a nice ride indeed, and I look forward to getting Dave Lohrli to hook me up with some of those sticky Goodyear wheels so I can really grip without the vibration factor. As far as safety that's up to the Rider to wear the right gear period, I have had only positive results with the E-Glide and recommend it to my fellow skaters that are ready for the next level in FUN! Blessings Be..Ride On!
