Just had a road accident (touch wood) and both parties can't agree on who's at fault? The Roadscope PLUS could well be a lifesaver. Developed by Korean company PLK, this automotive smart sensor acts as an extra pair of eyes while you're on the road, continually monitoring the environment via a camera that can be easily installed behind the mirror. There are four functions, including the nifty Digital Image BlackBox application. This essentially behaves like an airplane's black box and records the vital moments in case of a car kiss or collision by another motorist. Another feature, the Lane Departure Warning System, is a boon for fatigued or drowsy drivers as it alerts you if you start to cross road lines. An airbag may save your life, but this little device could well prevent that need from ever arising. Think about that.
