You know it's the start of a cool idea. I think in time to come, the design could be improved, with some of the speakers coming in the form of an ear stud, an accessory in the hair etc. Or the design could be improved to something much sleeker and classier.

having speakers in different directions could be improved by embedding different-sounding mini-speakers inside the earphone, or just having a special 2-channel surround chip altogether, since you only listen with 2 ear canals anyways. Anyways, this is a breakthrough in design and that's all that counts.
