McDonald's isn't the only one playing the "supersize" game. Samsung recently launched the world's biggest 102-inch plasma screen at CES. Now the Korean mega-conglomerate has unveiled the mother of all LCD TVs--an 82-inch TFT set with full HDTV support. No doubt you'll be the envy of your neighbors, after tossing out the kids and aged parents to make way for that monster screen in your tiny HDB hovel. But really, who wants Britney Spears' gyrating navel or J. Lo's butt that up close and personal? That said, our lucky sod of a colleague Melvin gets to eyeball that badass TV over at CeBIT, Hannover, this weekend.
