Cotton Carrier straps a dSLR to your chest

We've seen some pretty weird camera holders here on Crave Asia, such as the Spider Holster and the Optech Stabilizer Strap. However, the Cotton Carrier combines these two products into one attention-grabbing harness.

The Cotton Carrier is a vest-like harness which holds a dSLR to your chest, leaving your hands free to do other things yet allow quick access to the shooter. It's useful if you're skiing down a slope or hiking through a jungle trail and want to take pictures quickly without having to fumble through your bag. An optional holster attaches to the Cotton Carrier and lets you secure a second dSLR to your body.

According to Andy Cotton, one of the founding members of Cotton Carriers, the harness distributes the weight of the camera(s) around your upper body. This is better than most shoulder bags or backpacks which concentrate the load on the shoulders. However, I cannot imagine how painful it'll be if one were to fall face down while wearing the Cotton Carrier with a dSLR attached.

There are several packages available on the company's Web site for both entry-level and high-end dSLRs. Prices range from US$69 to US$169 depending on which bundle you choose.
