Razer's Project Fiona: Windows 8 gaming tablet
This concept gaming tablet is said to be the first true Windows 8 gaming tablet, which would sport a 10.1-inch screen and a 1,024 x 768-pixel resolution and a built-in accelerometer. Users would also be able to experience force feedback when playing games.
The tablet would also feature the use of a third-generation (aka Ivy Bridge) Intel Core i7 CPU, along with a solid-state drive (SSD). Razer did say that there might be a possibility of the tablet incorporating a discrete graphics chip from AMD or Nvidia.

Dell XPS 13 Ultrabook debuts at CES
The Dell XPS 13 sports an edge-to-edge display, which is hardened with Corning Gorilla Glass and measures 18mm at its thickest point while weighing only 1.36kg. Featuring a backlit keyboard with a large glass multitouch touchpad, its hardware configurations include Core i5 and i7 processor options, 4GB RAM and a choice of either 128GB or 256GB SSD.

Panasonic's converters bring out best from Lumix lenses
Recently announced were conversion lenses for the Lumix 14-42mm and 14mm F2.5 lenses--the Wide Conversion lens DMW-GWC1, Tele Conversion Lens DMW-GTC1, Macro Conversion Lens DMW-GMC1 and Fisheye Conversion Lens DMW-GFC1. The conversion lenses are basically addons which can be attached to compatible Lumix interchangeable lens cameras (ILCs) to allow users to reproduce special effects.

Panasonic's 2012 home theaters deliver 3D sound
Panasonic has just unveiled its SC-BTT190, SC-BTT195 and SC-BTT490 3D Blu-ray home-theater-in-a-box (HTIB) kits.
Besides native support for full-HD 3D video playback, all three models will come with a new 3D Cinema Surround technology which would provide more precise directional sound and a jitter-reduction system that supposed to minimize signal distortion and audible noise.

Corning Gorilla Glass 2 gets thinner
An improved version of Gorilla Glass named the Gorilla Glass 2 is now 20 percent thinner while maintaining the same strength as its predecessor. This could also mean thinner smartphones in future, although there is no indication as to which mobile companies are adopting the Gorilla Glass 2 at this point.

Fujitsu demos Arrows waterproof, quad-core prototype
Packing a 1.2GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor, the Fujitsu Arrow comes with a 4.6-inch, 1,280 x 720 pixel-resolution screen LTE and runs on Android 4.1Ice Cream Sandwich. Aside from being waterproof, it also has an expandable ISO range of up to 25,600 which makes it very useful when capturing subjects in low-light conditions in bad weather.

Lenovo unveils K800 smartphone
Lenovo will release its latest K800 which runs on an Atom chipset. The new handset will sport a 4.5-inch touchscreen, an 8-megapixel camera and measures only 10mm at its thickest point. However it will be available only in China initially in the second quarter of this year.
Intel inks deal with Motorola on Android devices
A multiyear, multidevice partnership between Intel and Motorla has recently been announced. Intel's processors will be used to power Motorola's Android products. Find out what this means for Intel and Motorola since mobile phones typically use ARM-based chips, which are more efficient and able to sleep longer without drawing as much power and better suited for smaller gadgets.
